This qualification will assist with a career in home and community care. This involves care in client homes and other community settings under regular supervision within clearly defined organisational guidelines and service plans.
Carry out activities to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people in their own homes or in other community settings
Carry out activities related to an individualised plan
Report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.

Work experience must be satisfactorily completed in order to successfully complete this qualification. Students will be required to source suitable work experience for this qualification.
There are no entry requirements to this course.
The fees for this course are split into two semesters.
Semester one fee is $1,256.50
Semester two fee is $538.50
Job Active, Disability Employment Services and any other employment related services providers can pay per semester. Public enrolments pay both semester fees upon enrolment.
