Most vocational education courses are part of national training packages that are updated regularly in consultation with relevant industry bodies.
Entry requirements for VET courses depend upon the course. Some courses may have prerequisite subjects or employment experience requirements and others may not. Each individual course page contains information on any entry requirements.

VET courses at the certificate IV, diploma and advanced diploma level can provide students with a pathway into the higher education sector. In addition to helping students meet entry requirements, VET courses can also provide credit towards some university level courses
Computer Literacy Requirements (online courses)
Our online courses have a requirement that you have both access to a computer and internet along with a basic level of computer literacy to access your course materials and content. Students should be able to use Microsoft word and be able to navigate web pages. Students who require assistance or are unsure if they meet the computer access and literacy requirements for their course are encouraged to speak one of our team members prior to enrolment.
English Language Requirements
All courses are in English. It is expected that students will have a good English language ability and be able to demonstrate skills in English language reading and writing.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment
All students enrolling with us complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment to ensure they have the ability to engage in the course. Contact us if you would like to complete the assessment prior to enrolling.
Physical ability requirement
Most of our programs have a workplace requirement. Visit course pages or speak with us about the practical components required to engage in our programs.
