Q: Is my qualification the equivalent to a TAFE qualification?
A. Yes, Five Star College and TAFE are both Registered Training Organisations with the same accreditation from the Australian Skills Quality Authority. The qualifications we issue have the same national accreditation as TAFE.
Q: How long do I have to complete my course?
A. Course durations vary depending on the course however there is no minimum timeframe to complete a course.

A.You have direct access to help via our 1800 number between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Q: Do I have to sit exams in a classroom?
A. Our courses don’t have exams. Students are required to submit assessments as part of their online course, but these can be submitted at any time before the end of the course.
Q: How do I enrol?
A. All forms are available online under relevant course page.
Q: Can I download course material?
A. In most courses, the course material is to be viewed in the online platform. You’ll need a stable internet connection.
Q: What if I don’t complete my course by the course end date?
A. In some cases, you may be able to apply for a course extension. Please speak witih us on individual circumstances.
Q: What if I leave the country for a few months?
A. The course is online, so you can complete your work from overseas. There may be options for courses to be deferred depending on the course. Speak with us for further information.
Q: Do I need to purchase any text books or resources?
A. We provide access to all required resources. You are not required to purchase any text books or additional support materials.
Q: What are the technology requirements?
A. You will need a computer with a stable internet connection. Access to a PDF reader and a Microsoft Word or compatible program is also required.

Depending on the units selected, students may need access to a printer and the following applications:

Q. Can I use my qualification from Five Star College to get into university?
A. In many cases, you may be able to use your qualification to gain entry into University. Please contact individual universities to gain further information on this.
Q. If I complete the enrolment form am I guaranteed a place in the course?
A. After you complete the enrolment form, you’ll be taken through a course entry interview. This process assists us to ensure the course is suited to your abilities and career goals. Once the course entry interview is reviewed and approved and a payment structure is established, you will be granted a place in the course.
